Girostudi is a public health innovation project led by Dipsalut (the Public Health Agency of the Girona Provincial Council). This local health study will enable the improvement of public policies, boost local research, and promote more sustainable and equitable development.
The Girostudi project by the Dipsalut Observatory is a pioneering initiative to understand the social, environmental, and health factors that determine the well-being of the Girona population. It is based on a digital and longitudinal cohort of 4,000 people aged between 16 and 79, with a planned 10-year follow-up.
To meet this challenge, Dipsalut entrusted Genomcore's technology to develop a digital platform, which serves as the heart of the project. This solution not only facilitates the collection of user information via questionnaires through a mobile App, enhancing participation and data quality, but also incorporates a powerful CRM to optimally manage all interaction with participants, from initial communication to continuous follow-up, thanks to Genomcore BIMS.
The system ensures high efficiency and drastically reduces the need for in-person or telephone interviews, thus guaranteeing the study's long-term viability and improving the user experience.

“The Girona Provincial Council is convinced that Girostudi will be an indispensable tool, helping local councils to shape public health policies for the coming years in an equitable and effective manner.”
All information managed on the Genomcore platform complies with the highest standards of security and privacy. The system is designed and certified under the ISO/IEC 27001:2013, 27017:2020, 27018:2020 regulations, and the High-Category National Security Scheme (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad en Categoría Alta), ensuring full compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and the future European Health Data Space (EHDS).
